Jeromy Harris

Tampa Region General Manager

Value Delivered

As Tampa Region General Manager, Jeromy provides clients with the responsiveness, expertise, and professionalism they need for reliable, efficient operation of a broad array of mechanical systems.

His responsibilities include working with clients to develop maintenance plans, assessing a wide range of renovation, retrofit, and other projects, and ensuring that his expert factory-trained technicians deliver the services required to give clients consistently high-performance systems.

His goal is to gain even more market share for EMCOR Services MSI (MSI) in the Tampa Region, and continue to build long term relationships with clients.

Expertise

Jeromy started with MSI in 1997 as a sheet metal apprentice. He entered the ABC sheet metal apprenticeship program in September 1997 and completed the program in early 2000 as a Journeyman Mechanic.

Then in 2001, he was accepted into Local 803 as an HVAC Apprentice. He began the apprenticeship in September of 2001 and completed the apprenticeship in June of 2006. He has worked in various departments throughout his apprenticeship before settling into the Service department in 2005.

During his time in the Service Department he became heavily involved in MSI’s chiller department and in 2014 was promoted to Field Supervisor over MSI’s chiller group. In October of 2015 he took on an account that required him to perform both Field Supervision and Account Management duties.

All of these roles prepared him well for his promotion in August 2018 to General Manager of the Tampa Region. With nearly 22 years of experience in the commercial and industrial industry, Jeromy has a keen knowledge of virtually all aspects of HVAC systems, with a specific expertise in centrifugal chillers.

Jeromy recently became a sitting member of the Tampa MCAA (Mechanical Contractors Association of America) Chapter as well as a sitting member of the Local 123 Apprenticeship committee.  He also works with Southern Technical College to encourage students to consider career paths in the HVAC Trade.

Prior to joining MSI, Jeromy was a member of the armed forces where he served four years active duty and four years in the reserves, which helped instill strong organizational skills and the structure that has helped him succeed in his various roles at MSI.

The Personal Side

Jeromy enjoys spending time with his family and has been married to his wife for over 14 years. He also plays softball, golf, and enjoys fishing and being outdoors. He also spends his time away from MSI coaching his children fast pitch softball or baseball and spending quality time with his granddaughter.
