MSI featured in cover story of Jan. 2007 issue of The Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration News

ORLANDO, FL – Orlando-based Mechanical Services, Inc. (MSI) was featured in a cover story titled “Prediction: Design-Build to Flourish in 2007” in The Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration News (January 2007), a leading national trade publication. Written by senior editor Mark Skaer, the article states that smart contractors such as MSI embrace the project delivery method, and in fact the company is heavy in design-build, operation and maintenance, and mechanical contracting. MSI vice president Mike Dillard, who was frequently quoted, commented “The value that an experienced mechanical contractor can bring early in the process has the potential to make design-assist and true design-build methods more prevalent.” Dillard and others believe that design-build is also the right process for retrofits and renovations. “Based on our experience, design-build can be very rewarding and can bring mechanical contractors and their customers closer together long-term,” concluded Dillard.
